Abstract

1,248,517. Knitting machines. KARL MAYER TEXTIL MASCHINENFABRIK G.m.b.H. 24 Sept., 1969 [28 Sept., 1968], No. 47059/69. Heading D1C. In a warp knitting machine the drive levers for sinker movement are rigidly connected to the sinker control shaft 4 which is behind the needle bar 2 and carries loosely the needlebar and guide bar control levers 3, 11, the guide bars 7 being carried on extensions 8 of links 9 which with levers 11 and cranks 10 form link quadrilaterals. Needle bar 2 is driven by arms 5 from the main shaft. Crank 10 is connected to shaft 12 which is driven through a linkage and arm 16 from the main shaft.
