In a drive mechanism for the guide bar 1 and presser bar 6 of a warp knitting machine, these bars 1, 6 are. each connected by a push rod and a linkage 5, 11 to an arm 15a, 15b carried on the same eccentric 13. Guide bars 1 are mounted on suspension 2 carried on shaft 3 and are connected by arm 4 to linkage 5. The bar 7 of presser .bar 6 is secured to a lever 8 connected by arm 10 to a linkage 11. eccentric 13 is mounted on drive shaft 14.
