973,052. Knitting machines. KARL MAYER TEXTIL-MASCHINENFABRIK G. m. b. H. Aug. 30, 1962 [Sept. 1961], No. 33365/62. Heading D1C. In a warp knitting machine, the presser supporting levers 16 are fast on a shaft 13 on which the sinker-bar supporting levers 12 are rotatably mounted each being connected, e.g. by a connecting rod 14, with a control lever 15 fast on the shaft 7 carrying the needle bar levers 6. As shown, shaft 7 is fast with one or more control levers 8 connected by an actuating rod 9 with an eccentric on a shaft 5 and levers 6 are connected through actuating lever 11 with another eccentric on shaft 5. Presser supporting levers 16 are connected through a rod 17 with a further eccentric on shaft 5. Rods 9 and 17 and lever 11 are connected indirectly through members, e.g. 21 Fig. 2, with their respective levers 8, 16 and 6.
