Abstract

1,243,527. Door sealing arrangement. K. ISAMATSU. 13 Nov., 1968 [11 Dec., 1967], No. 53760/68. Heading EIJ. A door sealing arrangement in a door in which the jambs and lintel have rebates to provide a surface 12 against which the door abuts and is stopped, consists of sealing strip secured to the door frame stop surface 12 by a flat portion 15 and a folded back portion 4 connected to and diverging from portion 15 and terminating in a bulbous bead 3 for resilient contact with the door in its closed position, and a second strip 6, Fig. 4, having a flat portion for securing it to the marginal lower edge portion of the door and a resilient part 8 extending down to the sill and terminating in a bulbous bead 7 for resilient and rubbing contact with the sill, both strips 4 and 6 having their exposed surfaces covered with a pile.
