Abstract

122,894. Anthony, A. H. Feb. 5, 1918. Fluid-actuated gears.-The slide-valve D<1> is integral with a cylinder D which reciprocates over a stationary plunger E secured by a rod F to the end of the valve-cheet. The cylinder D is provided with separate admission and exhaust ports on either side of the plunger E. These end in slots in the valve face which pass over corresponding ports in the valve seat communicating with the interior of the cylinder. The admission of and exhaust from either side of the plunger to move the valve is controlled by four pockets in the main pietou B.
