Abstract

1,226,358. Boats. GRAHAM FARISH Ltd. 10 Oct., 1968 [15 May, 1968], No. 23141/68. Heading B7V. A boat comprises a rectangular member 2 closed at the bottom and open at the top and fitting into a well in the hull. The member and well extend above the water line. In Fig. 4, member 2 carries engine 4, a propeller shaft and a rudder. The member has tapered end walls to facilitate insertion downwardly into the well 10 which is open below and to the stern. The member is secured by bolts through flanges 15, 14. Alternatively the member is oppositely tapered and inserted upwardly into the well.
