121,379. Friestman, E. Jan. 2, 1918. Pivoted handles.-The handle of a pocket-knife or tool consists of a bent strip a of spring metal formed with a longitudinal V-shaped groove a'. The knife-blade or tool b is provided with projections b' adapted to be sprung into holes a<2> formed in the handle. After the knife-blade &c. has been forcibly turned into its open or closed position, it is held against unintentional movement by V-shaped projections b<2> engaging the outer ends of the groove a<1> The handle may be con. structed to hold two pivoted blades or tools arranged side by side. If there is only one blade or tool, it may have an extension c adapted to serve as a screwdriver, tin-opener, &c. when the blade &c. b is in its closed position.
