Abstract

117,410. Stevens, G. Feb. 19, 1918. Pocket knives in which the blade springs are formed in one with the metal scales. The combined scales and springs are stamped out to the shape shown in Fig. 3, and the spring portions a are then bent laterally at their ends and pressed into the position shown by broken lines. The knife-blades b, Fig. 4, which open from opposite edges of the handle, may be pivoted at the same end of the handle or at opposite ends.
