Abstract

121,102. Hamon, L. Le W. Aug. 20, 1918. Composition, fuel.-Lignite, peat, sud, leaf mould, or shale, or two or more of these raw carbonaceous materials are mixed with cellulose material, such as sawdust, silica, alkali, and tar or pitch, or residues from tar or pitch, or residues from the distillation of oils, and the mixture is moulded into blocks. Other carbonaceous materials, such as, for example, graphite, anthracite or coal-dust, coke breeze, or culm, and mineral substances, such as iron and manganese ores, may be added.
