Abstract
1,204,379. Cartons. R. A. JONES & CO. Inc. 3 Oct., 1967 [3 Oct., 1966], No. 44942/67. Heading B8P. A tubular carton is erected from a blank having rear, side and front walls 11-13, an inner flap 23 at one end connected by gusset flaps 24 to the side walls and separated by a slot 28, 35, 28 from the rear wall being folded into the carton to support a squeeze tube &c. inside, e.g. by engaging the squeeze tube &c. with its free edge 36, an outer flap 20 having a tongue 22 for the slot 35 closing the carton end. At the other end, flaps 17 separated by cut lines and panels 49 defined by score lines 50, 51 are bent into the erected carton to form a window through which the squeeze tube &c. may be seen, the panels 49 forming inclined shoulders engaged by the tube, Figs. 1, 2 (not shown). In a modification, the inner flap (23<SP>1</SP>), Figs. 6, 7 (not shown), has a hole (36<SP>1</SP>) to receive the neck of the squeeze tube &c.
