Abstract

872,175. Dispenser cartons. SWAN, K. V. Nov. 17, 1958 [Nov. 20, 1957], No. 36119/57. Class 18. A dispenser carton e.g. for cigarette paper packets is folded from a single blank, Fig. 2, and secured by glue flap 111, provided with tuck-in end closure flaps 14, 26, the flaps 26 forming an end closure adjacent a cut-out 20 in the front wall to leave a delivery slot and including extension flaps 30 positioned within the made-up carton adjacent the back wall so as to move the packet nearest the end closure slightly forward through the slot. The front wall has windows 13, and several cartons can be hung in echelon by tongues 34 interengaging with slots 37 and tailpieces 28, threaded through slots 29, with holder strips 35. In a modification, the side walls are provided with larger flap extensions than the flaps 25 and these have slots and part-circular cut-outs which lie at the front after folding, while the back wall has closure flaps similar to the flap 14 at both ends.
