Abstract

689,838. Cartons. BOXFOLDIA, Ltd. Nov. 30, 1950 [Nov. 30, 1949], No. 30687/49. Class 18 A display carton has a rearwardly sloping front wall and means to support the contents in a sloping position parallel to the front wall. In one embodiment wings 17, 23 on the front wall 13, and rear wall 15, are enclosed between doubled side wall members 14, 22 having tongue and slot connections 24, 25 with the base. A triangular member 37 formed from a blank 11 is inserted behind the contents 36 to support them. In another embodiment (not shown) a flat base member having upwardly folded cut out portions which form partitions parallel to the carton front wall, is inserted in the carton. The wings 23 may be replaced by gussets. The supporting means for the contents may be integral with the carton blank. Specifications 355,560 and 476,873 are referred to.
