Abstract

1,203,808. Guiding endless conveyer belts. DAYCO CORP. 6 Dec., 1967 [27 Jan., 1967], No. 55402/67. Heading B8A. [Also in Division D1] In textile drafting apparatus having upper and lower aprons each passing about a nose bar and a roller, one of the nose bars, e.g. the lower one, 19, is provided with spring clips to restrict lateral movement of apron 20. The clips 21, 22, (see also Fig. 4, not shown), comprise upper and lower hooks 23, 24 for engaging the nose bar and a portion 25 at right angles to the main part of the clip for guiding the edge of the apron. The arrangement is particularly suitable when a long lower apron with its tensioning roller is replaced by a short apron. The clip may be of spring steel, polyethylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate or acetal.
