Abstract

Valves; valve-gear.-A rotary valve 1 carries a balancing piston 25 and is actuated by a pair of wheels 5, 6 having their teeth so arranged as to press the valve continuously against its seat. The valve has a .single port which registers with inlet and outer ports in the head of the cylinders; it is connected to the balancing piston by a sleeve formed in one piece with the gear wheel 5.
