Abstract

1,189,527. Doffing and donning apparatus. LEESONA CORP. 9 March, 1967 [14 March, 1966], No. 21760/68. Divided out of 1,189,521. Heading D1D. The description is the same as that with reference to Figs. 1-25 and 30-32 of Specification 1,189,521, but the claims are directed to a method of, and apparatus for utilizing a signal to initiate the doffling of bobbins in random fashion while the other stations of the frame continue in operation. The term "doffing" is defined as including the removal for piecing of a part-wound bobbin from its support and returning it after piecing as described with reference to Figs. 33-50 of Specification 1,189,521.
