Abstract

780,416. Winding thread. BRITISH NYLON SPINNERS, Ltd. Sept. 10, 1956 [Sept. 10, 1955], No. 25942/55. Class 120(2) In a process for winding thread the initial lengths of yarn which are not processed are wound on a portable capspinning unit positioned below the main thread receiving member. A suitable unit is shown and consists of spindle 1 and a cap 3. The unit is clamped to a spindle rail by bracket 5 such that the lower part of the spindle 1 is in driving contact with the spindle belt of the machine. Specifications 543,466, 643,625 and 780,415 are referred to.
