1,186,467. Pressurized dispensing containers. W.R. GRACE & CO. Oct.18, 1968, No.49586/68. Heading F1R. A valve mounting up for an aerosol dispensing container has a sealing gasket 26 located on the exterior surface of skirt 20 and extending from the juncture of skirt 20 with annular channel 22 to a point midway up the skirt. Examples of gasket materials described include elastomeric and resinous polymers, e.g. polyethylene and P.V.C. The gasket thickness is between 2 and 10 mils. The gasket is frictionally located on the up by stretching and releasing the gasket, or by heat-shrinking.
