Copper-base alloys having high strength and electrical conductivity consist, by weight, of:- Fe 1À5 - 3À5% Sn 0À02 - 0À15% optionally P 0À01 - 0À1% optionally Zn 0À05 - 0À2% Cu and impurities - balance. The alloys may be hot-rolled at 800‹ -1050' C., water spray quenched and then cold-rolled to size in stages with intermediate anneals at 400‹ - 600‹ C.
