Abstract
1420795 Altering molecular structure OLIN CORP 15 Nov 1973 [24 Nov 1972] 53127/73 Heading B3V [Also in Division C7] An alloy containing in percentage by weight is subjected to a final cold rolling to effect 8% to 22% reduction, and is then annealed at 550 to 715 C. In a preferred embodiment the alloy is first cold worked with at least 10% reduction and then recrystallization annealed at 400-600 C.; it may then be further cold worked with 25-40% reduction and given an intermediate anneal at 400-600 C. followed by the final cold reduction and anneal.
