Abstract
1379264 Aluminium alloys OLIN CORP 25 May 1972 [1 June 1971] 24762/72 Heading C7A An aluminium base alloy comprises by weight:- the balance being aluminium, and the silver being substantially dissolved in solid solution. The alloys are hot-rolled at 850-975F, cold rolled, and then heated at 350-750F for a period of 5 seconds to 8 hours. They possess an improved resistance to oxidation at elevated temperature and are particularly suited to bright dipping and anodizing for example for use as trim on automobiles.
