Abstract
1,186,285. Copper alloys. OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORP. May 23, 1968 [June 26, 1967], No.24766/68. Heading C7A. Copper-base alloys having high strength and electrical conductivity consist, by weight, of Fe 1À5-3À5% P 0À01-0À15% Zn 0-03-0-2% optionally Al up to 0À07 % " Mn up to 0À08% Cu and impurities - balance. The alloys may be hot-rolled at 800‹ -1050‹ C., water spray quenched, and then cold-rolled to size in stages with intermediate anneals at 400‹ - 600‹ C.
