Abstract
117,750. Walkey, W. R. Oct. 19, 1917. Dressings.-Surgical dressings consist of cotton wool or gauze saturated with an ether solution of paraffin wax or a mixture of waxes. The ether is evaporated so as to leave each fibre of the gauze coated with wax, and the dressing is then impregnated with a solution of flavine or other antiseptic of the dye type.
