1,165,882. Two-part couplings. HELLERMANN DEUTSCH Ltd., (Deutsch Co.). 26 Sept., 1966 [29 July, 1965], No. 42836/66. Divided out of 1,165,881. Heading H2E. A socket contact for use in the plugboard of Specification 1,165,881 comprises a rigid socket 6, formed in a bus-bar 7, and a resilient sleeve 4 which rests on a shoulder in the socket 6 and has three inwardly-inclined fingers 3, (3) and 10; the two fingers 3 being for latching behind an annular flange 9 on an inserted plug contact 8 and urging it against the shoulder in the socket 6, and the other finger 10 being for engaging the side of the flange 9 and pushing the plug into line contact with one side of the socket wall.
