Heat exchange elements, e.g. for a motor car radiator, are made of an alloy consisting, by weight, of Sb 0À02 - 0À5% Cu and impurities - balance. Impurities may be 0À03 - 0À1% oxygen; Zn and P. Strip suitable for fabrication into heat exchange elements may be made by pre-heating slab ingot at 800‹C., hot-rolling, cold-rolling twice and annealing at 500‹C., and finally cold-rolling to a thickness of 0À001 - 0À01 inch.
