Abstract

1,152,652. Drum stands. PREMIER DRUM CO. Ltd. 11 May, 1967 [20 May, 1966], No. 22503/66. Heading G5J. In a drum stand, the drum support comprises a mounting 7 from which two arms 15 are pivotally adjustable in a common plane about parallel axes and a third arm 18 is pivotable in a plane perpendicular to the common plane and is pivoted and retained in a selected position by means such as a screw 21. Means such as a set screw 6 enables a height and orientation adjustment of the mounting which may have a conical joint (10, 11) (Fig. 2, not shown) clamped by a screw 14 to provide further adjustment. Other pivoting and retaining means for the arm 18 include a cam, or spring, wedge, or linkage means. The drum support is preferably made of metal.
