Abstract

1394285 Adjustable camera lens mounting: lens adjustment EVINGTON ENGS Ltd 9 April 1973 [30 March 1972] 15051/72 Headings G2A and G2J A photographic camera has means whereby the lens can be pivoted about a horizontal and vertical axis through the rear nodal point of the lens. Camera 48, Fig. 1 is pivotally clamped at 50 on arms 52 carried by cross-slide 34 lockable at 32 on carriage 54 lockably slidable on rail 42. Bellows 47 connects the camera to a lens panel 10 having a mounting 12 slidable and lockable at 28 on vertical posts 14 connected to a cross-slide and adjustable carriage on rail 42 in a similar manner to that of the camera, except that upper part 30 is pivotable and lockable at 32 about a vertical axis. By loosening a threaded knob 26 and shaft 24, Fig. 3, the lens panel can slide fore and aft via dovetail slide parts 16, 18, and by loosening threaded knob 22, the panel and slide parts can pivot about a horizontal axis formed by tube 20. The rail is clamped at 60 to a tripod head 56.
