Abstract

The holder comprises a length of folded metal channel inverted and mounted horizontally on a vertical support by means of a screw pivot which permits angular adjustment. This channel carries a ring at the back and rests at the front, forming a cradle for holding the fishing rod. The vertical support can swivel in a horizontal plane, its lower end being fixed onto the body of a screw clamp. This latter can be clamped onto the side of a boat or onto the head of a stake fixed into the ground.
