Abstract

1,151,333. Waste heat steam generators. SENIOR ECONOMISERS Ltd. 15 March, 1967 [16 March, 1966], No. 11427/66. Heading F4A. In a waste heat recovery system a steam generator G and economizer E are mounted sideby-side in the exhaust flue F, e.g. of a marine I.C. engine. Feedwater, fed by feed pump FP to the economizer E, flows through pipe FC to an - auxiliary boiler B from which water is circulated by pump CP to generator G and back to the boiler B. A superheater SH fed from boiler B through pipe SS is situated upstream of the generator G. A controlled by-pass BL is provided across the economizer E.
