Improvements introduced in direct-pass steam generators, comprising a main circulation path including, in series circulation relation, steam generation and reheating surfaces, a derivation system connected to said main circulation path and including in it means of deposit of sudden evaporation; a main boiler feed pump for supplying liquid to said steam generating surface, and means for reducing the pressure to reduce the circulation pressure in said bypass system, the improvements of which comprise liquid conduit means connecting said system bypass with the suction side of said main boiler feed pump to transmit liquid circulation from said flash means to said suction side; and feed pump reinforcing means, upstream of the liquid conduit means, to transmit addition or compensation flow to the intake side of the feed pump.
