Abstract

1,146,532. Two-part couplings. SUHNER & CO. A.G. 1 Aug., 1966 [22 June, 1966], No. 34450/66. Heading H2E. A socket (or plug) contact 12 crimped or soldered to a conductor 9 is held in bore 4 of insulator 5, by a split spring ring 16, which lies in annular grooves 14, 15. The insulator may be in two parts, Fig. 3, not shown, and have in one part, a steel ring (17) with one of the grooves in its inside surface. The insulator is provided with a metal or plastics casing (not shown) which may secure the two parts of the insulator together.
