Abstract
1,142,466. Rail joints. BECORIT GRUBENAUSBAU G.m.b.H. 10 May, 1966 [11 May, 1965 (2)], No. 20559/66. Addition to 1,091,771. Heading B7L. The articulated rail joint shown in Fig. 1 is generally as disclosed in the Specification 1,091,771 but modified by forming bolt 12 with a removable pin 13 and the guide 5 of C-section the open mouth of which can be closed by a movable locking part 7. In a further embodiment, Fig. 3, pin 4a is removably attached to an apertured member 5a by a pin 6a and the lower pivotal coupling formed of a socket 9a of generally semicircular inner crosssection and a segmental insertion piece 10a. The centre points of components 9a and 10a coincide with the meeting point of lower flanges 3a and 3<SP>1</SP>a. The socket 9a may be closed by lateral walls 12a. The rails may be supported by a chain link 8a.
