Abstract

1,128,112. Automatic guns. ZAVODY VSEOBECNEHO STROJIRENSTVI GENERALNI REDITELSTVI TRUSTU PODNIKU. 23 June, 1966, No. 28161/66. Heading F3C. A gas block 2 is mounted on the barrel 1 of an automatic gun. The gas block 2 is provided with a rotatable regulator 4 having a plurality of grooves of different cross-section for cooperation with vents in the gas block, each groove being connected to a recess 6, 7 formed in the surface of the regulator. The gas block 2 is further provided with a bore 11 which contains a slidably movable pin 5, the inner end of which co-operates with one of the recesses in the regulator 4 and the outer end with a surface (13, Fig. 2), a barrel nut 3 to lock the regulator in one of its positions. To unlock the regulator the barrel nut 5 is rotated until a notch 12 cooperates with the outer end of the pin, such that the pin is released from the recess. The regulator is also slidable transversely of the gas block to bring another groove into co-operation with a vent leading to the bore of the barrel.
