Abstract

1,126,183. Refrigerators. HAMAC HANSELLA A.G. 3 March, 1966 [4 March, 1965], No. 9314/66. Heading F4H. Confections are cooled by passage through ambient air and then through cooled air. As illustrated, the confections are passed from a feed conveyer 1 through a housing 3 on conveyers 6, 9 and 12 which are connected by shoots 13, 14. A fan 20 draws fresh air or room air through an opening 16 in the housing for passage over the conveyers 6 and 9 as indicated by the arrows A. Air from the fan 20 may be passed to outside atmosphere and/or the room enclosing the housing according to the setting of a flap 21. Confections on the conveyer 12 are cooled by air circulated by a fan 25 through a filter 23 and a refrigerant evaporator 24. Confections are finally discharged at 15. The figures in circles and rectangles indicate respectively the temperatures in degrees Centigrade of the cooling air and the confectionery at various points in the housing.
