Abstract

112,096. Gardner, E. May 26, 1917. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-Two jets of liquid fuel issue without spraying air from nozzles c, d on opposite sides of a spherical combustion chamber and impinge upon each other. In a four-stroke-cycle engine, the air admission valve e and the exhaust valve f are also situated in the combustion chamber.
