Abstract

1,115,423. Excavator teeth; stud and socket fastenings. G. A. PETERSEN. 8 July, 1966 [12 July, 1965], No. 30754/66. Headings E1F and E2B. An excavator tooth is retained on a holder by parallel limbs at the rear of the tooth being locked in parallel channels formed in the sides of the holder by a V-shaped spring clip that extends through an opening in the web between the channels so that the arms of the clip lie in the channels for at least two protuberances spaced along each arm to engage in notches in the limbs of the tooth when the tooth is correctly positioned on the holder.
