A clip comprises a block 2 through which extends a slot 6 of constant cross-sectional dimensions and a toothed strap 4 of flexible material projecting from the block, the slot being bounded on one side by a flap 12 capable of being temporarily bent away from the slot to allow a tooth 10 of the strap to pass through the slot from one side of the block to the other and to wedge against that surface of the block 2 on that other side.
