Abstract

1,039,268. Straps. IRVING AIR CHUTE OF GREAT BRITAIN Ltd. June 10, 1965 [June 30, 1964], No. 24626/65. Divided out of 1,039,267. Heading A3V. To prevent complete release of a strap 6 from a sliding bar buckle 1, the strap carries a projection 8 which can be flattened against the strap during threading of the strap on the buckle but which abuts against the buckle if the strap under tension slips about the sliding bar 4 of the buckle. Instead of the folded end shown the projection may comprise a separate portion of flexible material stitched at one end to the strap with its free end lying flat along the strap.
