A cardboard &c. carrier comprises a rectangular base from which four side walls 1, 2, 3, 4 extend, the bottom of each side wall being at right angles to its two adjacent side walls and the top of each side wall being in alignment with one adjacent side wall to provide flat, back and front marginal portions 14, 15 and 16, 17. Flaps 6, 7, 8, 9 form a crash bottom. Windows 10, 11 are formed by tearing the blank along lines of weakness a and b, d respectively. Three fold lines e and a fold line c enable a panel 12 to be folded over the marginal portions 14-17 to form a handle. Two push-in panels 13 are made by tearing the blank along lines of weakness at opposite corners of the carrier.
