Abstract

1395644 Cartons UNILEVER Ltd 5 May 1972 [6 May 1971] 21092/72 Heading B8P A carton for holding articles in one or more rows comprises four adjacent wall panels folded to tubular form and has end closing flaps 3, 5 provided with handholds 9, there being a tearout aperture 7 in one wall panel which extends to a hole 8 in an adjacent wall to facilitate opening. A bottom wall 13 may comprise two panels, one carrying an extension 14 to separate rows of articles and may have punched out tabs to separate each article. The extension 14 may extend towards the top of the carton, Fig. 5, and be folded to form flaps 17, 18 engaging the articles. Tabs 16 may separate each article.
