[Also in Division E2] In a pipe repair clamp comprising a flexible metallic band 13 having lug assemblies 16 including interengaging torque arms 18 which prevent rolling of the lugs when the bolts 19 are tightened, and a gasket 14 secured to the band and having abutting ends 15, a member 20 spanning the gap between the ends of the band is secured to one end of the band and a supporting element 21 carried by the gasket extends beyond the edges 11, 12 of the member 20. In a modification, the element 20 is replaced by two supporting elements.
