Two-stroke -cycle engines. - Two or more working pistons F are secured to cross-heads formed integral with a pump piston connected by a rod H to a crank-shaft J. Air or combustible mixture is compressed in the upper end of the pump cylinder C and is transferred to the explosion cylinders through passages in the pump pistons and the pipes D. The explosion cylinders are in permanent communication with one another through pipes not shown.
