Abstract
A ferritic stainless steel storage tank is made of an alloy consisting of:- .C.-0.07% .Mn.0.2-0.5% .Si.0.2-0.5% .Cr.17.75-18.75% .Ni.-0.5% .Al.-0.15% .Ti.from 10 times the carbon content up to 1.25%, the balance being Fe. Impurities P and S may be present up to 0.03%.
