Abstract
Precipitation hardenable Cr-Ni stainless steel comprises 10.5-10.25% Cr, 7.5-9.5% Ni, 1-2.5% Mo, 12.5% Cu, 1-2% Al, less than 0.05% C, less than 0.015% N2, remainder essentially Fe. Ni can be partially replaced by up to 2% Co, the Ni content being greater than 6%. Up to 0.3% Nb and/or 0.15% Ti may be added.
