Abstract

1,075,726. Impact crushers. HAZEMAG HARTZERKLEINERUNGS-UND ZEMENT -MASCHINENBAU. G.m.b.H. Aug. 11, 1965 [May 6, 1965; May 11, 1965], No. 34349/65. Heading B2A. A beater mill comprises a casing 1, Fig. 1, which may be opened as at 3 and 5 to give access to the inside lining which is formed as a mosaic of relatively light handleable armour plate sections. Each section is secured in position by a resilient plastics key 10 engaging a slot in a projection 9 on the rear side of the plate. The locking member may also be formed of resilient wire somewhat in an S- shape. The rotor (2, Fig. 4) of the mill is formed by plates (31) welded to a shaft (32) and provided with slots (13) for hammers (22). The hammers are retained by noses (15) on square members extending axially along the rotor circumference, and secured by a pin (16) and a cotter pin (18). Shoes (19) anchored at the periphery of the rotor plates protect the plate rim in front against abrasion. A hammer may be adjusted by releasing the pin (16), withdrawing the hammer sideways and replacing it, or rotating it so that the nose engages a groove in the hammer further removed from the working end.
