Abstract

1,245,725. Impact pulverizer's. FIVES LILLE-CAIL AND APPAREILS DRAGON S.A. 27 Feb., 1970 [28 Feb., 1969], No. 9679/70. Heading B2A. A rotor 10 Fig. 1 for an impact crusher comprises beaters 14 each of which is fixed by a prismatic wedge 16 whose length equals that of the beater. Each beater has its base immobilized in a longitudinal groove 12 in the rotor. Bolts 20 apply the rear face of the beater against a bearing face on the rotor. A key 18 renders the beater fast with the wedge. The bolt heads may be inserted in T-section grooves 22, the bolts themselves being accommodated in radial slots 23, Fig. 3. Alternatively countersunk bolts may be used with the heads protected by the wedges, Fig. 2, (not shown). Further embodiments may indude screws threaded into the beaters instead of bolts, and the beater and wedge may be secured otherwise than with a key.
