1456734 Impact pulverizers B H S BAYERISCHE BERG - HUTTEN - UND SALZWERKE AG 4 April 1974 [7 April 1973] 15088/74 Heading B2A An impact pulverizer impact tool is made of two layers one 8 wear resistant (on the striking edge) relative to the other layer 9. The spacing of the impact edge relative to the separating line between the two layers remains substantially constant during wearing down of the tool as at W 1 ....W 5 . The sharp edge 11 remains. The tool may be a rigid beater Fig. 1 or a pivoted hammer Fig. 2. The layer 8 may be tungsten carbide, silicon carbide boron carbide or tool steel, and the layer 9 may be mild steel or cast iron.
