1,075,709. Wheel hub caps. P. W. DEER. Nov. 9, 1965 [Nov. 26, 1964], No. 47942/64. Heading B7C. A non-metallic, moulded hub cap for a vehicle wheel has a dished portion 1 integrally joined with an axially extending flange 2 having a bead 3 which snaps over the usual lugs provided on the wheel. Radial, equiangularly spaced ribs 5 reinforce the portion 1. The cap may be of polyethylene, polypropylene. acrylonitrilebutadiene - styrene terpolymer or plasticized PVC and may have reinforcing textile-fabric or glass fibres incorporated therein. Differently - coloured, fluorescent or phosphorescent pigments may be used.
