1,072,104. Caps for bottles &c. KORK-NSEAL Ltd. April 15, 1965 [April 20, 1964], No. 16346/64. Heading B8T. A sealing liner 1, for use with bottle and like caps, includes one or more concentric circular ribs 6, and at least one radial venting groove 4, 5. It may also have a sleeve (2) for engagement with a peg (9), Fig. 4 (not shown), on the cap. In an alternative embodiment, Fig. 5 (not shown), a projection on the liner fits into an aperture in the cap so as to be secured to it rotatably. The cap may be of metal, plastics, &c. The liner may be of plastics, rubber, &c.
