1,041,628. Vehicle wheels. E. WORRALL. July 7, 1965 [July 7, 1964], No. 27841/64. Heading B7C. A protective plastics cover 5 for a hub cap 2 has an inturned and/or out-turned peripheral lip to keep out dust. The cover may be vacuum formed from a thermoplastic sheet with an inturned lip to be clamped between the wheel and the cap 2 (Fig. 2, not shown), or moulded with a thickened lip (Fig. 1) which merges into the wheel. The cover is sprung on to the hub cap, and may be made of clear or slightly coloured polypropylene or P.V.C.
