A spring cushion comprises rows of helical springs 10, tie wires 26 extending transversely of the rows, and clips 34 securing the overlapped end convolutions of adjacent springs to a tie wire projection 30 extending into the space between the overlapped convolutions, the tie wire 26 being formed intermediate the rows with outwardly displaced, arcuate portions 32 acting as auxiliary springs.
